Project Overview
In 2024, Loopex Digital started partnering with ZeroBounce, an email verification and deliverability platform that helps businesses clean their email lists, identify invalid or risky addresses, and improve inbox placement for marketing and transactional emails. ZeroBounce allows teams to remove spam traps, disposable emails, and inactive contacts, protect sender reputation, and increase campaign performance with accurate real-time validation and list hygiene features. The company needed a professional SEO company to expand its organic reach and strengthen authority in the competitive email deliverability space.
Goal
ZeroBounce started its partnership with Loopex Digital on a solid foundation. At the time we began SEO work on the project, the website was already receiving approximately 40K monthly organic visitors, with 1,198 keywords in Google's top 10, and a domain rating of 76. Our SEO team's primary goal was to increase domain authority, expand organic traffic, and attract more high-quality users actively searching for reliable email validation solutions.
Solutions

After analyzing ZeroBounce's goals and evaluating the competitive landscape, we developed a targeted SEO strategy focused on two pillars: strengthening on-site content around email verification topics and acquiring high-quality backlinks from relevant SaaS platforms. In parallel, we ran digital PR link building campaigns to earn high-authority placements and build brand awareness across tech and cybersecurity media.
We Developed a Content Strategy to Strengthen Topical Authority Around Email Verification
ZeroBounce had existing informational content, but it lacked the depth and structure needed to dominate the email verification topic space. Overlapping articles were diluting keyword signals, and key queries remained uncovered.
We conducted a full content audit of the website's informational section and developed a structured SEO content strategy to strengthen the email verification content cluster. Based on this analysis, we prepared detailed content optimization briefs, identified opportunities to merge overlapping articles, and recommended improvements to strengthen topical coverage and internal structure.
We also created briefs for new informational articles targeting key queries around inbox placement, sender reputation, email deliverability, bounce types, spam traps, and authentication topics.
The strategy focused on expanding keyword coverage, improving topical authority, and supporting stronger rankings through better content structure, consolidation, and targeted new content.
Our SEO Team Secured High-Quality Backlinks from Relevant SaaS Platforms
ZeroBounce needed stronger off-site signals to compete for its most valuable keywords. Without backlinks from relevant SaaS platforms, ranking improvements from content work alone would plateau.
To identify the right websites, we focused on platforms commonly used by marketing teams, CRM specialists, and email automation professionals. These included email marketing tools, customer engagement platforms, and data management solutions. Each prospect was carefully evaluated to ensure it met our quality standards and maintained an active blog or resource section suitable for contextual placements.
We then conducted outreach through personalized pitches and secured high-quality backlinks from authoritative SaaS websites aligned with ZeroBounce's deliverability and email verification space.
The Loopex Digital Team Ran Data-Driven Digital PR Campaigns to Earn High-Authority Placements and Build Brand Awareness
Beyond traditional link building, ZeroBounce needed brand-level visibility across major tech, cybersecurity, and lifestyle publications. Digital PR link building builds brand recognition and earns the kind of editorial placements that traditional outreach cannot reach.
Our Digital PR link building team planned and executed 18 data-driven campaigns and expert commentary pieces around topics with broad editorial appeal: AI adoption and anxiety, internet addiction, online fraud, email carbon emissions, phishing trends, digital dependency, remote work, and tech careers. Each campaign was designed to earn editorial coverage from top-tier publications while positioning ZeroBounce as a credible authority in the email validation and cybersecurity space. Here are some examples of Digital PR campaigns that our team ran:
- Countries that are AI Superpowers
- Most AI-Addicted Countries
- Countries More Affected by Online Fraud
- Countries that Emit the Most Carbon by Sending Emails
- Top Tech Addicted U.S. States
- The Most Internet-Addicted Countries in 2024
- The Most AI Anxious Countries
- Cybersecurity Expert Commentary on Phishing Emails
- The Most Dangerous Emails You Shouldn't Open
- The Most Digitally Dependent Cities in 2025
Results
We started the SEO campaign in June 2024. The combination of content optimization, targeted link building, and Digital PR delivered strong results across every key metric.
When the project began, ZeroBounce was receiving approximately 40K monthly organic visitors. Our team's combination of content strategy, SaaS backlink acquisition, and Digital PR placements took monthly traffic to 79.8K. This growth demonstrates that even for an established platform, the right SEO strategy can unlock significant gains in organic performance.

Through our content and link-building strategies, ZeroBounce went from 1,996 keywords in Google's top 10 to 3,726 ranking positions. This expansion in first-page visibility directly contributed to the strong growth in organic traffic and shows that more high-intent queries are now ranking prominently in search results.

Moving domain rating at the 76+ level is significantly harder than growing from lower scores. Our link-building and Digital PR strategy secured backlinks from 156 referring domains, including high-authority websites such as SHRM.org, Euractiv.com, and YourTango.com. This pushed ZeroBounce's domain rating from 76 to 78, further strengthening the platform's competitive position in the email verification space.

Our Digital PR link building team secured approximately 230 placements across 18 campaigns, including 28 from DR 80+ websites and 10 from DR 90+ domains. We landed coverage in Yahoo, MSN, Fox News, El País, Entrepreneur, Mirror UK, Daily Record, Manchester Evening News, AOL, CyberNews, San Diego Union-Tribune, OC Register, Sacramento Bee, NetworkWorld, La Libre Belgique, SmallBizTrends, Digital Journal, and Jerusalem Post.
These aren't standard backlinks. Each placement put the ZeroBounce brand in front of a combined audience of over 5 billion monthly visitors across tech, cybersecurity, lifestyle, and international media. The campaigns were built on original data studies and expert commentary pieces, which gave journalists a reason to cover the story and link back editorially.
With a strong focus on branded anchor text, every placement served two purposes: building real brand recognition in the email verification space and strengthening domain authority as a natural byproduct.
