Best U.S. Cities for Landlords
Campaign Idea
Sometimes the best ideas start with a simple question. Ours was: "Why can't landlords find data about which cities offer the best returns?" Every real estate article talked about hot markets and buying opportunities, but none dug into the metrics that determine whether rental investments actually succeed.
Our analysis revealed hundreds of articles about housing markets, but none analyzed data specifically from a landlord's profit perspective.
We found that no major outlets covered actual landlord returns by the city despite the high search volume for rental investment information.
We came up with a story that connects two high-interest topics: making money from real estate investments and discovering the best places to invest.
