Campaign Idea

We spotted a major gap in travel coverage: while countless articles rank the "best places to visit," no one was talking about how popular tourist destinations might be ruining travelers' sleep. By combining tourism data with wellness metrics, we created a first-of-its-kind study that revealed which famous vacation spots are actually nightmares for quality rest.

Our PR team analyzed the media and found no coverage linking tourist spots to sleep quality - a perfect media gap.

The story hit two trending topics: wellness tourism and sleep health.

We combined five key metrics (noise, hotel reviews, air quality, crowds, and nightlife) to build a compelling data story.

Our team noticed significant shifts in the Canadian real estate market with changing demand for housing across major cities. We observed that the media primarily focused on market trends, often overlooking comprehensive insights into what makes a city truly desirable to live in. To fill this gap, we developed a data-driven ranking of cities in Canada. This strategy quickly attracted media attention by offering insights that people were missing.

We noticed that media coverage was mostly about housing prices and market trends, leaving out metrics that make a city desirable to live in.
We came up with a ranking of Canadian cities to close this information gap in the media.
Our data-driven insights quickly attracted media attention by giving people the information they needed to make informed relocation decisions.

Campaign Research

We mapped out the real factors behind what makes a city a good place to live.

We analyzed Google searches like “moving to [city],” “relocate to [city],” and “living in [city]” over the past year to identify the best Canadian cities to live in.
We examined data on safety indexes, average monthly rent, and net salaries to evaluate each city’s affordability and quality of life.
By combining search trends with these key metrics, we created a unique scoring system that ranked Canadian cities from 1 to 10.

Results

Our study gained coverage across major media outlets, including Medium, MSN, and Narcity.
